Ninja Tune collaboration XX

We recently collaborated with legendary music label Ninja Tune for their 20th anniversary XX celebrations. Working on the interior design and promotion leading up to a huge party held at Ewer Street car park. With 3 rooms of sound, lorry loads of speakers and and a lineup covering all corners of Coldcut’s hugely respected label. The monsoon of rain didn’t deter the thousands of Ninja fans from making this a night for the history books. A massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the Ninja crew, artists and the party goers! This short film by Dan Joyce includes a time lapse of mastermind artist Chu’s 30ft 3D Ninja sound system mural and sneak peak into the interior build and design from the team Hugo Toland & Liam Hay-how, plus some action from Mutate collaborators the HIT+RUN crew.

Major Lazer at Nottinghill Carnival 2010

Mutate Britain brought the heat to the Major Lazer x Red bull Music Academy party at Nottinghill Carnival this year. Featuring robotic installations by Giles Walker and a fire breathing dragon by Pakka, the party was one to remember with sets from the legend that is David Rodigan, Major Lazer and special guest appearance by Lee Scratch Perry.
